Golden Bachelor fans slam Mels diabolical | TV Shows

The Golden Bachelor fans have been fast to categorical their disappointment in the season’s fourth episode.

At the start of the Wednesday, Oct. 8 episode of the hit relationship show, Mel Owens, 66, had 9 remaining ladies. By the end of the section, only six ladies have been remaining, leaving Robin Rocha, Roxanne Massey and Gerri Flowers packing their luggage.

Adding onto fans’ already distinguished roasts, the main man’s elimination selections left the viewers with a lot to say.

Viewers first began out complaining about the show’s fixed tempo, with one X person saying, “This season is rushed he’s already down to 6 lady no approach this season is being rushed completely the show just began.”

Another wrote, “They are all hanging out just looking at the rose #Goldenbachelor why does it seem like this season is flying by or being rushed out!!!!! Down to 9 woman and it’s gonna be less after this I noticed it’s been rushed out.”

Fans were also frustrated by Mel’s choosing of Nicolle Briscoe over Gerri.

Someone said, “Giving a rose to Nicolle over Gerri is quite a choice..”

Another viewer added, “Nicolle over Gerri is diabolical.”

“Nicolle is kind of a rotten person,” a third chimed in, and a fourth wrote, “Nicolle makes me want to vomit!”

Nicolle gained a few more haters this episode after she told Robin, “I’ve told myself from the beginning, I’m not dating Mel. I’m dating America.”

“I’m dating everybody watching, and not watching. That gives you exposure like you’ve never had,” she mentioned.

Later on, the yoga instructor told a few of the other girls they will have “housewife status” now that they have made their way onto television. She also mentioned how the show could impact her social media status and make her an “influencer.”

Fans were not the only ones who expressed disapproval for Nicolle and Mel’s match. A few of the other contestants were concerned about Nicolle’s intentions as well. In fact, Cindy Cullers even tried to warn Mel that she wasn’t “authentic” without pointing her out.

Within a confessional, Cindy admitted, “If he chooses someone like Nicolle, it’s scary.”

Despite the majority’s dissatisfaction with the yoga instructor, Mel still gave one of his six roses to her.

Along with Nicolle, Cindy, Peg Munsion, Carol Freeman-Branstine, Cheryl Stelee and Lisa Flaherty are still competing for Mel’s final rose.The Golden Bachelor airs Wednesdays on ABC.
