Trump Speaks on Hostages, Peace, Iran and More –

Quite a few of us have been wanting at developments in the Middle East, primarily between Israel and Hamas, with a healthy dose of skepticism. Hamas, after all, we’ve got realized from long and bitter expertise, cannot be trusted to keep any deal.

But, proper now, there’s trigger for some cautious optimism. The last surviving hostages, held by Hamas since the Oct seventh, 2023, assault, have been launched to Israel. The stays of those who have been – let’s be sincere about this – murdered by Hamas are being searched for now. In a presser just forward of Monday’s peace talks in Israel, President Trump answered some questions about developments, and what he had to say was revealing.

First, on the hostages.

Townhall Media’s own Katie Pavlich requested: “Now that the living hostages have been returned, can you please tell us what the next steps are to this peace deal?”

The President replied: 

Well, they are going and wanting for our bodies. It’s a fairly ugly process. And they’re, they know where quite a few are, as , I assume 5 or six are in yet now, but they’re wanting for our bodies. They know the areas and the search events out, and they’re doing it in conjunction with Israel. And they will, they are going to be discovering fairly a few of them.

That was one of the circumstances of the deal, of course. It’s long overdue, and some of those our bodies that are being sought now might have been returned alive had the deal occurred a yr in the past – but then, we all keep in mind who was seated in the Oval Office a yr in the past, not doing a lot of something. 

Second, on Iran.

President Trump said:

They took a big hit. And frankly, if we did not his them on the nuclear (sic) I do not suppose we’d have been ready to have this unbelievable… this deal that’s a once-in-a-lifetime deal. Nobody has ever seen something like what’s taking place today. And nations have all come together. All different nations. Some like each other, some did not, most did not. And they’ve all come together. Every nation has come together. And by the best way, Iran did put out a assertion, , that they assist this deal very wholeheartedly. So that was, in itself, one thing. I believe they need to… That’s all I do in my life, I make offers. And they need to make a deal.

Hamas and Iran need to make a deal now because they’re wanting at the United States and seeing strength. That’s the only factor the mullahs and the jihadis respect – strength. Now, look at this deal unfolding now in the Middle East, look at the hostages who have come home alive, and ask your self if this would have occurred have been Kamala Harris in the White House today. 

I believe we all know the reply to that.

Free at Last: Hamas Releases Remaining Living Hostages As Critical Part of Peace Plan Comes to Fruition

Watch today’s news, because there are probably to be historic developments in the Middle East. Will they be lasting developments? That relies upon in great measure on which Hamas and their ilk are keen to abide by any deal, and for how long. Bear in thoughts that it could take only one frantic nutcase to fly off the deal with, and all this may flare up again. And, as always, the elephant in the room is Iran, and right here President Trump sounds an optimistic tone. While the mullahs are still wanting at the smoking ruins of their nuclear program, he could also be proper about Iran’s sudden enthusiasm for a peace deal between Israel and Iran’s proxies in Gaza.

I believe we all know, however, how far Iran will be trusted, and that distance can only be measured with a micrometer.

For now, though, let’s benefit from the heat feeling of peace in the Middle East, for however long it lasts – and keep in mind that this probably wouldn’t have occurred but for President Donald John Trump.
