American nation music singer Drew Baldridge has shared a video of a stunning brawl he witnessed inside a McDonald’s restaurant in Melbourne while touring Australia with Jelly Roll.

The She’s Somebody’s Daughter artist said the struggle broke out after a male buyer allegedly spat on a feminine employee behind the counter.

“This dude comes in, he goes up to the girl at the desk taking the orders, and he just said, ‘F— you, you dumb b—-’,” Baldridge said in an Instagram video uploaded last week. “He probably said it five times, and I was starting to get frustrated, and I was like, ‘Bro, you need to calm down. You don’t talk to women like that.’ Then he spat on her. Spit on a woman just because his order wasn’t right.”

Baldridge said that before he might intervene, two Australian males stepped in to confront the abusive buyer.

“This other dude came over. He said, ‘Hey, bro, we don’t talk to women like that,’ and before I knew it, these dudes got this dude on the ground,” the musician said. “The guys were holding him down, saying it was the wrong country to abuse women.”

Baldridge is presently touring Australia and New Zealand with Son of a Sinner hitmaker Jelly Roll, whose real identify is Jason DeFord. The duo’s tour ran from October 24 to November 8, including performances in Sydney, Melbourne, and Townsville.

Earlier this month, Jelly Roll made headlines after claiming he was “treated like a criminal” at a Louis Vuitton store in Sydney. The 40-year-old rapper later had to cancel his Auckland live performance just an hour before showtime, citing sickness.

“Dear Auckland, I’ve done everything I can I just can’t shake it,” he wrote to followers. “It breaks my heart, I’ve probably missed three shows in the last decade. I take pride in showing up, no matter what. Just couldn’t do it this time. Please forgive me.”

Baldridge later carried out a shock pop-up show in New Zealand for followers, saying he hoped his tourmate “gets better soon.”
