Noel Edmonds sends followers wild as he reunites with music icon Cliff Richard 25 years after their friendship started. The former Deal or No Deal presenter was overjoyed to see the singer in Wellington, New Zealand, for his Can’t Stop Me Now tour. The 76-year-old broadcaster took to Instagram on Monday (November 17) to share a clip of the friends together, revealing their mixed age to their loyal fanbase.

Noel started: “At last I get to see you again after all these years,” as Cliff, 85, joked: “I know, it’s been too long. I mean, a hundred years separating us, it was unbelievable. No, it was 25 years, I think.”  

Noel chuckled before clarifying: “It was 25 years ago that you were on my Christmas Day special, and you’ve done wonderful, kind things for me ever since over the years so I did want to come and say thank you.  

“But I then started to do some mathematics – and we have a combined age of 161.” Cliff despatched the TV host into hysterics after he quipped: “Oh my goodness me, I didn’t know that you were older than me!”  

It was at this level that the pair broke out into track together, treating Noel’s followers to their off-the-cuff rendition of Cliff’s chart-topping hit, The Young Ones, with their arms wrapped around their shoulders.  

And the We Don’t Talk Anymore hitmaker wasted no time in critiquing his buddy’s vocal vary, as he identified that he was singing the piece in too low a register, before joking: “He’s just pretending to be old”. 

It didn’t take long before followers flooded to the feedback to share their shock at their reunion online, with one consumer penning: “Lovely to see you both having fun!” as another agreed: “Love this! Two legends.”  

A 3rd chimed in with: “Awwww, that was sweet. Yet another reminder to us all that the years fly by in the blind of an eye” as a fourth gushed: “Noel never seems to age”.  

The shock reunion comes after Noel revealed he could be spending more and more time in the UK after buying a home on the Isle of Man. He titled the island, ‘The Smile of Man’ because “everyone seems so happy” and people “look out for each other”.  

Meanwhile, ITV axed his Kiki Adventure collection, which first aired in June and adopted his life in New Zealand with his fifth spouse, Liz. Noel, who determined to uproot his life and transfer to New Zealand in 2018, had reportedly prayed that the three-part collection would turn out to be a everlasting fixture on the channel, but it failed to resonate with viewers.
