She added: ““Adam Lambert would be great. Somebody like him would be perfect. He’s from the theatre world. He does have a dance background that’s not ballroom and latin, he’s all about performance. He can dance, sing and act.
“If you look up the panel with two female hosts, two female judges, definitely a male would replace Craig. Somebody like Adam would be perfect.
“He’s quite young, but he also has a great personality, which, when you’re a judge, you have to be able to speak quite fast and think quickly. I think he would be perfect for the job. I would put my money on him.”
Craig himself opened up about his plans to The Mirror earlier this month to verify “retirement is not on the cards” for him just yet as he is in the center of revamping his home.
He added: “I’m feeling great at 60. I bear in mind when I used to be 30 and thought 60-year-olds had been historical, but I do not really feel historical. I also bear in mind people saying you are only as outdated as you’re feeling, and really, it’s true.”
