Nicki Minaj says Trump calling Gavin Newsom | TV Shows

Trinidadian rapper Nicki Minaj, 43, appears to be having fun with President Donald Trump, 79, slapping 58-year-old California Governor Gavin Newsom with a crude nickname.

In mid-January, Newsom, who has long been vital of President Trump,threw shade at the world leaders attending the Davos Summit in Davos, Switzerland. The governor blasted the world leaders for turning into concerned with the president in an criminality, referring to Trump buying Greenland, an autonomous territory of Denmark.

While addressing reporters, Newsom told them, “Yeah, it’s time to buck up. It’s time to get serious and uh stop being complicit. It’s time to stand tall and firm, have a backbone.

Newsom also described the president as a “T. rex — you either mate with him, or he devours you.”

On Tuesday, Minaj added fuel to the fire of the feud between the two. In a YouTube interview with The Katie Miller Podcast, she shared the story behind Trump’s nickname for Newsom.

The singer burst into laughter after Miller pointed out that she and the president “both like to give people nicknames.”

Miller went on, “President Trump refers to Gavin Newsom as ‘Newscum.’ So do you.”

“Can you inform me? Did you come with it first?” she asked. “Or did President Trump come up with it first?”

Minaj replied, “Thank you for asking. So much of the barbs suppose I made it up. I’ve to be clear.

“Barbs, the president made that up. I stole that from him,” the rapper continued. “My fans know I’m a nickname person. I give everyone a nickname, especially if I don’t like them.”

She rolled her eyes and cleared up, “Actually, the people I love, I do give them nicknames.”

Minaj went on, “That’s why Trump is so funny. He reminds me a lot of myself in a lot of ways. He called him ‘Newscum,’ and I thought it was hilarious.

“But it was a long time in the past when he made that up. That’s his factor for a long time. So when I used to be about to acknowledge him lately, I used to be going to call him ‘Newscum.’ I assumed it was already branded in my opinon,” the star finished.

At the end of January, the rapper appeared on stage alongside the president for the Trump Accounts Summit event.

She shared her support for Trump and said to the crowd, “I will say that I am probably the president’s number one fan, and that’s not going to change.

“And the hate or what people have to say, it does not affect me at all. It actually motivates me to support him more,” Minaj closed.
