Fox News fans turn against Kid Rock after | TV Shows

Puerto Rican music sensation, Bad Bunny, 31, introduced the occasion to the Super Bowl LX’s Halftime Show at the same time as Kid Rock, 55, carried out at Turning Point USA’s rival different show. 

Turning Point USA, began by the late Charlie Kirk and now helmed by his widow, Erika Kirk, set up its own Halftime Show after the Grammy-winning rapper was announced as the headlining act for Super Bowl LX back in September 2025. Kid Rock joined nation singers Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice, and Gabby Barrett as the scheduled performers for Turning Point USA’s The All-American Halftime Show. The rival show aired online at the same time as the NFL championship sport’s halftime show on Sunday.

On Monday, Fox News posted on X that Turning Point USA’s different show attracted about 5 million viewers. Conservative fans weren’t impressed with the viewership numbers, particularly since Bad Bunny’s Halftime Show attracted up to 135 million viewers. They claimed the countershow flopped when the Bawitaba singer lip-synced his songs on stage. 

One viewer said, “Bad Bunny had literally more than 25 times the audience. And he didn’t lip-synch.”

Another individual added, “How is an old geezer in jorts lip syncing a song about drinking and hookers patriotic?”

A 3rd wrote, “Uh….so Kid Rock lip syncing to songs from 20 years ago is what y’all think is praiseworthy? Kid Rock is to music as a blender is to tomatoes. Oh look, a new word that rhymes with hoes…maybe there is still magic left in that creative tank for Kid.”

Although the rocker had his detractors, he did have a supporter who shared, “Thank you, Turning Point USA, for putting on the best show ever!”

Kid Rock lip-synching during his efficiency wasn’t the only drawback Turning Point USA had last night time. Before the show aired, however, it confronted an awkward blow as it might be unable to stream on X as deliberate. 

“UPDATE: Due to licensing restrictions, we are unable to stream The All-American Halftime Show on X,” the conservative group wrote on its account.

“Head on over to our YouTube channel tonight around 8 PM ET to watch the full show,” they closed. 

Despite Sunday’s hardships, Andrew Kolvet, Turning Point USA’s spokesperson, ignored the criticism and appeared on Fox News with a big announcement.

“You know, because of the success, it’s blown our minds tonight Brian. So we are going to commit to doing this again next year. We’re going to do another halftime show for the country next year,” Kolvet said.

“So I’m breaking a little news here, Brian [Kilmeade]. 20 million, at a very minimum, I think that number’s going to go higher, 40, maybe even 50 in the next 24 hours,” he claimed.

Kolvet added, “People are paying attention and, you know, if you give us a year to plan this thing, I’m really excited to see what we can pull off.

“But, we gotta do it for the nation, and this was a large success, and we have been grateful to do it,” he said.
