Fox viewers turn on Trump as host claims hes | TV Shows

Fox News viewers pushed back after host Greg Gutfeld defended Donald Trump’s monitor report, claiming the president’s critics only hate him more because “he’s doing his job.”

The feedback aired during a February 10 phase on Gutfeld! in which the conservative host described Trump as embattled but efficient.

“All huge wins,” Gutfeld, who just lately requested Elon Musk to get his X account back, said. “He’s got to fight the Democrats and the media. It’s always going to be that way. We’re used to it. We’ll take it.”

He added, “Wherever Trump succeeds, you’re always going to get this blowback. It’s a trade-off. The more Republicans love him, and they do, the more insane the vitriol will be.”

“I would be worried if he was getting strange new respect from The View or Morning Joe,” he said. “But the fact that you hate him now more than you’ve ever hated him — that means he is fulfilling his promise, and I like that.”

Viewers took to X to voice their opions on the phase.

“Does this show offer anything of substance,” wrote a viewer, who added, “or is every segment just these guys raging out?”

Another consumer responded bluntly, “Or raping kids.”

Others accused Gutfeld of pushing propaganda. “YOU are the media,” wrote one consumer. “Just like you, this argument is so tired and hollow. Find new material to push your propaganda.”

A fourth penned, “Fox News will forever be a propaganda channel with no balls, all lies. When Trump is gone, Fox News also will be gone.”

“No, Gutless,” one more added, “it means he’s a bottomless pit of depravity.”

Gutfeld ended the phase, saying, “The fact that you hate him now more than you’ve ever hated him, I don’t know, meant that you, that he is fulfilling his promise, and I like that, Jesse.”

Earlier this month, President Donald Trump said he plans to launch “very hard” land strikes in Latin America as half of his administration’s effort to curb drug trafficking.

In a Fox Business interview with Larry Kudlow, Trump claimed his initial focus on sea-based interdictions lowered drug flows by about one-third.

He said the next section will goal inland routes to forestall smugglers from shifting operations back to land.

“Now we’re going to start on land,” Trump said. “Once you close off one area, they shift. We shut down a lot of the boats. Now we’re going to stop them on land.”
