Saturday Kitchen viewers seriously divided by Vito | UK News
Strictly Come Dancing’s Vito Coppola left loads of viewers divided following his look on Saturday Kitchen.
The beloved BBC show returned to screens on Saturday morning (March 28) with Matt Tebbutt back at the helm.
Joining Matt on the programme had been cooks Theo Randall, Samin Nosrat and drinks skilled Helen McGinn. Strictly favorite Vito also made an look to cook a dish, and singer Self Esteem aka Rebecca Lucy Taylor, also stopped by – in which viewers had to vote on whether or not she would have her model of food heaven or food hell.
However, it’s truthful to say it was Vito that received loads of people speaking, as it appears some viewers had been left divided by the dancer on the show, with some taking an issue with him talking loudly.
On X, one particular person said: “Can’t stand the screeching at this time of the morning.” A second quipped: “Can you speak a bit louder please – they can’t quite hear you in Naples…”
A 3rd then penned: “Vito should stick to dancing and you just know the miserable blonde guest is getting hell.”
Nonetheless, it wasn’t all detrimental as other viewers supported Vito, with one particular person saying: “Such happy, bubbly chefs on today. Especially the lovely @Vito__Coppola Food looks delicious too.”
Someone else penned: “Love Vito.” A 3rd gushed: “Vito seems like such a lovely, upbeat fella.”
It comes after Matt Tebbutt returned to Saturday Kitchen this month having some time away in Australia. Earlier on in March, followers watched The One Show’s Alex Jones in the recent seat as she was joined by Mike Reid, Adejoké Bakare, Bryn Williams and particular visitor Phil Wang.
Although Matt was on the show the week prior, the BBC star confirmed it was a pre-recorded episode as he shared updates from Australia with his Instagram followers.
However, the 52-year-old presenter was back at the helm once again in March as he took a second to reward Alex for taking over.
He said: “Before we go on with our usual nonsense, we should say how well Alex did last week. Well done, Alex Jones.”
Saturday Kitchen airs every Saturday at 10am on BBC One.
