About Those Boos of Vance at Olympics | Political News
Ah, liberal media. You gotta love them.
Which is to say, you do not have to. Not at all. Even if the information are proper before you, you will get a different spin than what you see with your own eyes or hear with your own ears. You have to always query every little thing they are saying, because so a lot comes from an agenda.
So it was with the report of the “boos” for Vice President JD Vance at the Olympics, as our sister website Townhall reported. The American athletes got here out as half of the standard parade into the stadium. During the walk-in, the big screen confirmed a visible of Vance and his spouse, Usha, waving American flags. That’s when the media commentator claimed there have been boos.

Did you hear it? I do not know about you, but I did not hear what she said, that had the USA Today and other retailers claiming he was booed. Then people on the left gilded the lily a bit more, claiming “massive boos” or that the entire stadium booed.
Now, possibly there have been a few boos under her commentary, if she was there. You would possibly hear different issues at different locations in the stadium, so I’ll grant that there might have been issues I do not hear on these videos. But if I am unable to even hear it, how prevalent might they’ve been? And that’s also a bit of a remark on the media – they hear from their level of view, which is restricted.
Here’s another take:
- EXCLUSIVE— right here is video of @JDVance @VP getting launched at the Olympics and I’m not listening to any boos in this at all. Seems like institution media could be concocting another pretend news narrative right here. Watch for your self and determine for your self. pic.twitter.com/emjJ9UcdUL

It will get barely louder for about two seconds with a couple of whistles. That’s about it. If that’s supposed to be some enormous rejection, it wasn’t.
But let’s not query something when the media is speeding into yet another narrative that they need to push.
Then, too, I do not assume Vance can be notably involved about boos in Europe. Indeed, for many on the best, that’s virtually a badge of honor that you are doing one thing right, that your issues are the United States, not just pleasing or bending over to Europeans as was the case under Joe Biden and Barack Obama.
But what ought to have earned some raspberries had been the feedback by a couple of the American athletes. When you are there, you are supposed to be there representing the United States; you should not be saying or doing something dumb. Like this press convention. Keep your politics at home.
There had been skiers Chris Lillis and Hunter Hess.
“I feel heartbroken about what’s happened in the United States,” Lillis said.
DISGUSTING: Team USA Olympic Freestyle Skier Hunter Hess: “It brings up mixed emotions to represent the U.S. right now… It’s a little hard. There’s obviously a lot going on that I’m not the biggest fan of, and I think a lot of people aren’t.”

“I think that as a country, we need to focus on respecting everybody’s rights and making sure that we’re treating our citizens as well as anybody with love and respect,” Lillis continued. “And I hope that when people look at athletes competing in the Olympics, they realize that that’s the America that we’re trying to represent.”
Translation? I would like to sound like I’m saying the best factor for the liberal narrative, but what I’m saying would not say a lot of something. Hey, Chris, we’re respecting our residents by really imposing the law to shield them. Talk to those on the left and inform them to stop interfering in the arrests. Tell them to respect ICE.
Hess was a little more on the road of rejecting his representing the U.S., saying it leaves him with “mixed emotions”:
“I think it brings up mixed emotions to represent the U.S. right now, I think. It’s a little hard. There’s obviously a lot going on that I’m not the biggest fan of, and I think a lot of people aren’t. I think for me it’s more I’m representing my, like, friends and family back home, the people that represented it before me, all the things that I believe are good about the U.S.,” Hess said.
“I just think, if it aligns with my moral values, I feel like I’m representing it. Just because I’m wearing the flag doesn’t mean I represent everything that’s going on in the U.S.,” he continued. “So yeah, I just kind of want to do it like for my friends and my family and the people that supported me getting here.”
These people.
What’s going on is the enforcement of the law for which the American people voted. If you don’t need to symbolize the U.S., then what are you even doing there? The U.S. obtained you there and is placing you up. You’re not there as an impartial.
Of course we needs to be supporting our athletes despite the way in which a few privileged, sheltered younger people would possibly muse about our nation; they have not lives a lot of their lives, with time for cold actuality to hit them in the face yet. There are many more patriotic athletes on the U.S. group, like the lads’s hockey group. Go, Team USA!
