CBS shocked its viewers on New Year’s Eve with an intimate second between two people in Time Square.

As normal, the community broadcasted its New Year’s Eve celebration from a number of cities in the United States. The most stunning program occurred in New York City, where CBS introduced in the New Year with a close up of two males kissing.

Once the clock struck 12 a.m. EST, the couple, dressed in festive Planet Fitness hats, had been zoomed in on as they shared a New Year’s kiss. Once the second was broadcasted, one viewer named EndWokeness took the clip to X to say, “New Years 2026 begins with a gay kiss.”

Jeremy Hassell hosted the particular alongside Jonathan Bennett, who is best recognized for his position in Mean Girls. He also hosted Cake Wars, Halloween Wars and Holiday Wars.
