Check Out the Hilarious Whiplash As Dems Flip-Flop

Remember how it was only about a week in the past that the Democrats have been shedding their minds over the DHS half of the funding invoice? 

One of the issues they needed was to have bodycams on ICE brokers. It was the only one of the concepts that made any sense and wasn’t ridiculous. So the DHS immediately went along with it.

But once the DHS said they have been going to immediately start utilizing them, then that’s when immediately the Democrats realized there was a drawback. That was an excessive amount of transparency, according to Politico.

A push to put physique cameras on all ICE brokers has Democrats working headlong into a new drawback: concern that the technology will present another avenue for mass surveillance of protesters.

Congressional Democratic leaders have made common use of physique cameras one of their prime calls for for imposing accountability on Immigration and Customs Enforcement, particularly after federal brokers fatally shot two American residents in Minneapolis. But after an outcry from privateness advocates that surveillance instruments will enable ICE brokers to determine and observe protesters, Democrats are also calling for restrictions on how the physique cameras can be utilized.

Lawmakers and legal observers have accused ICE of leveraging a selection of cameras to surveil protesters, feeding footage into license plate readers and facial recognition systems. Democrats now fear that the physique cameras they’re demanding could possibly be used for comparable functions.

Well, you have been just demanding them, now you are complaining that it is “mass surveillance.” 

Translation? The physique cams aren’t going to help their narrative of the “mostly peaceful protesters.” They’re going to show just how a lot these people have been harassing and attacking ICE and other federal brokers.

It’s because now we have the ICE agent’s video in the Renee Good case that we are able to see from his level of view what he had to deal with. Even with that, the Left is still making an attempt to spin it. If we hadn’t had that, though, they might have had a lot more means to form the narrative how they needed. 

Yes, Democrats, the cameras are going to consequence in more arrests of people on the Left because it is going to seize what they do, and video needs to be used to help determine them for arrest. If they’re just protesting, they don’t have anything to fear about; it can show that too. It’s humorous, it feels like Democrats try to argue that it ought to only be used for what they assume it needs to be used for, not for real transparency that will show what occurred, warts and all. They don’t desire it to be used to examine these people.

But Democrats do not really need transparency.
