Fox News viewers are drawing parallels between Donald Trump’s latest initiative and a Marvel Studios project.

On Saturday, March 7, the U.S. President, 79, gathered leaders from over a dozen Latin American nations for the Shield of the Americas summit held in Doral, Florida. During the event, he shed mild on his new security initiative, which he created in makes an attempt at restructuring the Department of Homeland Security to fight drug cartels and unlawful immigration.

The Kristi Noem-led coalition has captured the eye of a few comedian e-book followers. During Fox News’ livestream of the event, one X consumer said, “Marvel come to life!!”

Noem’s appointment to the Special Envoy for The Shield of the Americas occurred just hours after President Trump fired her as the Head of the Department of Security.

She has expressed gratitude for the new function. Within a assertion, Kristi said, “Thank you, President Trump, for appointing me as the Special Envoy for the Shield of the Americas – Western Hemisphere. Secretary [Marco] Rubio and Secretary [Pete] Hegseth are incredible leaders, and I look forward to working with them closely to dismantle cartels that have poured drugs into our nation and killed our children and grandchildren.

“In this new role, I will be able to build on the partnerships and national security expertise, I forged over my time as Secretary of Homeland Security,” she added.

Her reassignment follows months of criticism over her division’s handling of ICE raids.

Protests have erupted nationwide this 12 months, many sparked by the deaths of two U.S. residents: Alex Pretti and Renee Nicole Good, who both have been shot and killed by ICE this past January in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Noem has defended the ICE brokers, particularly the one who shot Good, describing the deadly incidents as an act of self protection and alleging the victims had engaged in “domestic terrorism.”

Although she defended the use of power by the brokers, she acknowledged that Good’s death might have been “preventable.”
