Guthrie Case Escalates, Multiple Detained After

Updated [1:06 PM ET]: The Pima County Sheriff’s Department made no arrests in connection with the in a single day law enforcement operation, according to experiences:

An operation linked to Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance Friday evening ended without any arrests, a law enforcement official says. More than a dozen autos, including those from SWAT and forensics, have been seen at the situation before roads reopened after about 4 hours.

Multiple major occasions occurred in a single day in Arizona, as police continued their investigation of Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance. The escalation started with a SWAT raid close to the lacking, 84-year-old lady’s home, and escalated additional with a Range Rover being pulled over and then lined with a tarp.

NewsNation’s Brian Entin was on the scene when a combination of local and federal authorities arrived. He was finally told to exit the perimeter, but reported that none of the law enforcement had left at that level.

Shortly after that news broke, experiences of a number of people being detained started to roll in, including one particular person “in handcuffs.”

Four now “detained” in the Guthrie case. Can verify at least one in handcuffs, which is probably going an arrest. This factor is real.

The caveat is that anybody at the property would technically be detained during the execution of a search warrant. As of this writing, we do not know if any precise arrests have been made. The detainees have been described as either two or three males and a “mom” by varied sources.

It is important to notice that this operation was related to the Guthrie case. The Pima County Sheriff’s Department confirmed that shortly before midnight local time, saying it was a joint operation with the FBI and that no further info is presently out there. 

Law enforcement exercise is underway at a residence close to E Orange Grove Rd & N First Ave associated to the Guthrie case. Because this is a joint investigation, at the request of the FBI – no further info is presently out there.

That wasn’t the end of it, though. Some time later, a Range Rover was surrounded at a close by Culver’s restaurant. Videos confirmed FBI brokers and PCSD deputies, indicating this was also related to the Guthrie case, overlaying it with a tarp as they examined one thing inside. 

Pima County Sheriff’s Office says no news convention or update.

That vehicle was then loaded onto a flatbed truck and taken into custody, presumably to be forensically investigated. Some have speculated that a physique was discovered, but that appears extremely unlikely. There was no signal of anybody being eliminated from the trunk, and the scene itself was deserted after the Range Rover was hauled off.
