President Donald Trump isn’t “satisfied” with the new Iranian proposal.

On Friday, May 1, Iran despatched its latest proposal in negotiations to end the battle with the United States and Israel. No particulars of the potential deal have been revealed; however, it’s identified that the contents have been despatched to Pakistani mediators on Thursday night.

As the U.S. president, 79, ready to depart Washington, D.C., to return to his Mar-a-Lago resort, reporters stopped him outdoors the White House to ask about the new proposal. As he was broadcast on GWN, Trump admitted he wasn’t impressed by the Middle Eastern nation’s offer.

He shared, “So they want to make a deal, but I’m not satisfied with it. So we’ll see what happens.”

The president went on to say why he believes Iran is open to negotiations. “Iran wants to make a deal because they have no military left, essentially,” he claimed, including the alleged purpose they’ve yet to put an intriguing offer on the desk.

“They’re having tremendous discord. They’re having a tremendous problem getting along with each other in Iran,” he talked about. “The leadership is very disjointed. It’s got two to three groups, maybe four.

“With that being said, they all want to make a deal but they’re all messed up,” Trump concluded.

The last proposal Iran had despatched to the U.S. concerned reopening the Strait of Hormuz while suspending negotiations over the nation’s nuclear program until a later date.

During an earlier episode of GWN, National Security Analyst Beth Stanner shared why she believes Trump wasn’t the big proponent of the last deal.

“It gets us basically not even back to the status quo ante,” she said. “It gets us back to a position that is suboptimal to where we were when we started this war.

“We just can’t do it,” she added, saying Trump’s standoff is due to his “need to show something that we’re making progress.

On Saturday, February 28, the U.S. and Israel launched initial strikes on Iran, during which several Iranian leaders were killed, including Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

When Trump announced the news of the Iranian leader’s death on his Truth Social, he also noted that the U.S. strikes on Iran will persist.

On his Truth Social, he clarified, “The heavy and pinpoint bombing, however, will continue, uninterrupted throughout the week or, as long as necessary to achieve our objective of PEACE THROUGHOUT THE MIDDLE EAST AND, INDEED, THE WORLD!”

While talking at Trump National Doral just days after the strikes started, the president said he expects the battle to be over “very soon.” However, he said the offensive would continue “until the enemy is completely and decisively defeated.”
