John Dalys son makes perfect start to his PGA | Golf News


John Daly II is making his PGA Tour debut this week at the Puerto Rico Open, and he is already following in his father’s footsteps.

“It was fun,” said Daly II after enjoying with Shipley. “I love Neal, it was awesome. First time meeting him yesterday. He’s a good dude and I enjoyed playing with him a lot.”

“I would say I’d go hit balls, but I’m a little tired so I’m just probably going to go to the beach and probably do absolutely nothing for the rest of the day,” completed Daly II.

“I didn’t know it,” said Daly after their win at the PNC Championship on the file. “He did. He says, ‘If you make this, we’re going to beat the record by two.’ So I hit it a little firm (laughter). And luckily we made the putt coming back, but no, I didn’t know. I didn’t know it was a record until he told me.”
