Max Kranick likely avoided the worst in Mets…

PHILADELPHIA — Max Kranick gained’t be back pitching for the Mets in the first half of the season, but the right-hander seems to have avoided a season-ending damage. 

An MRI examination on Kranick’s elbow revealed a flexor pressure, according to Carlos Mendoza.

The reliever will likely be shut down from throwing for 3-4 weeks before he’s evaluated for a potential construct up. 

Kranick, who underwent Tommy John surgical procedure earlier in his profession, was positioned on the injured record this week with discomfort in the elbow.
