Sinbad has returned to the highlight, starring in Tyler Perry’s upcoming thriller, “Straw.” The position marks the first time the 68-year-old comic has been back on the screen since suffering a stroke that left him hospitalized for months 5 years in the past.

Perry, 55, addressed Sinbad’s comeback during a screening of the movie in New York on Tuesday, June 3.
