Trump branded a liar as he makes bizarre claims | TV Shows

Fox News viewers have called out Donald Trump after he made some bizarre claims about his daughter Tiffany.

On Wednesday, the president capped Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s journey to Washington by lauding the partnership between the US and Saudi Arabia.

Addressing an viewers of business leaders during the US-Saudi Investment Forum at the Kennedy Center, Trump announced Prince Mohammed has vowed to invest $1 trillion in America — an increase from his authentic $600 billion pledge he prompt in the Oval Office on Tuesday.

While addressing the business leaders, the president also used the event to speak about his daughter Tiffany Trump, 32, who attended the event with her husband Michael Boulos.

“My daughter Tiffany is here with her great husband Michael, thank you very much Tiffany, thank you honey,” Trump said.

He then went on to speak about Tiffany’s training, mentioning that she attended Georgetown University Law Center.

Trump said, “She was a great student. She went to Georgetown. She was a great, great student and she finished really right at the top and we were proud of you.”

Tiffany — the only little one of Trump and his second spouse, Marla Maples — acquired her undergraduate degree at the University of Pennsylvania, her father’s alma mater, before attending Georgetown, where she graduated in the center of the coronavirus pandemic in May 2020.

Because of this, the commencement ceremony was canceled— and despite acknowledging the Covid pandemic, Trump bizarrely claimed in his speech that the cancellation had one thing to do with the fact that she is his daughter.

“Her graduation got canceled because of Covid, but I say if her name was something else, they probably wouldn’t have canceled it,” the president claimed.

“They didn’t like that she did so well at school. They weren’t happy about it.

“I say they canceled your commencement because you had been a great scholar and they did not need, but other than that, I’ve no issues. You see, I do not take something personally.”

The president’s comments earned laughter and applause from the crowd at the investment forum, but on social media, people were confused about Trump’s remarks.

“Yes let’s make the de*dliest pandemic in over a century all about you, sir. Well performed, sir,” a person tweeted.

“Guess he forgot he was president during the entire first 12 months of Covid,” another wrote.

Another tweeted, “LIAR LIAR PANTS ON FIRE! During the COVID-19 pandemic, Georgetown University conferred levels in digital ceremonies for the Class of 2020 and initially postponed in-person celebrations, later holding make-up, in-person graduation occasions for the affected courses years later when situations allowed.”

“So Covid occurred because of his household, because it bought canceled because of Covid proper?” someone else shared.

“Everything revolves around him. His ego is an all consuming fire devouring all others before him,” a person wrote, while another posted, “This dude actually is a lunatic.”

One more posted, “Blaming Tiffany’s canceled commencement on her title instead of a global pandemic is traditional Trump….turning Covid into a conspiracy against branding.

“Georgetown didn’t cancel because she’s Tiffany, they canceled because the world shut down. Only Trump could spin a virus into a personal vendetta.”
