I can’t let you know where I’d be if I’d never heard Rush Limbaugh on the radio, but I can let you know where I wouldn’t be: right here on the pages of CrimsonState.

I grew up in liberal cities in a liberal family with liberal mates, but I always knew I used to be a blacksheep. I wasn’t homosexual or something — I used to be conservative. I used to be told that Ronald Reagan was the satan incarnate, but my eyes and ears told me one thing different.

And there I used to be, someplace in the Nineties on a Southern California freeway, and this man, this El Rushbo, got here on. Oh, I ought to pay attention to this, I assumed; people have said he’s racist and a fascist and hater of all good issues, and I ought to see what all the hubbub is about.
