Wheel of Fortune fans give same verdict on Ryan | TV Shows

Wheel of Fortune fans have had several months now to get used to Ryan Seacrest as the host, and they’re starting to all say the same thing as they settle on a verdict about him taking over for Pat Sajak. 

Seacrest has had some mixed reactions during his tenure on the show, with some fans worrying the show is tiring him out and making him look “weathered,” and others refusing to watch and forcing the show to take a ratings dive. While others have simply debated over whether they prefer him or Sajak.

However, there have been some fans who have found him to be a refreshing change for the show.

Now, some are rendering their final verdicts after Seacrest has hosted for over six months.

As they shared their thoughts on Reddit, most of the fans seemed to have the same thing to say.

“I started watching again because Pat was finally gone. I couldn’t stand him. I think Ryan is great,” another said.

“I was watching celebrity wheel the other day after regular with Ryan and I really think Ryan is a better fit for the show. Pat is iconic and I love him but he feels way too deadpan for the mindless and fun nature of WOF,” a third wrote.

“I started watching again a bit last year after a long break and then to tune in for Pats last week. I stuck around to see how Ryan would do and I’m hooked! I was skeptical of Ryan but I’ve been super impressed and really enjoy the show now,” a fourth shared. “I think he’s exactly what you want to host WOF, got a lot of Pat like qualities but fresh and brings good banter and enthusiasm. I find myself laughing a lot more than I expected.”

“Pat was very good but don’t think he was really a “people person’ IRL. Ryan is awesome…Can tell he loves people,” a fifth added.
