Elon Musk Delivers Smackdown to NY Times | Political News

I reported on how, at the top of May, Elon Musk distributed with accusations made in a New York Times story. It was when he was honored in the Oval Office by President Donald Trump for all the work he had carried out with DOGE, on the event of his departure from official involvement. 

It was fairly the takedown and very Trumpian, exhibiting Musk could have discovered one thing from the grasp.

Elon skewered the Times with a wave of his hand, noting how they received Pulitzers for reporting on Russia collusion. Trump appreciated that one. 

The Times report claimed Musk used medicine, including ketamine. 

How a lot was that report price? They claimed he “exhibited erratic behavior” including “gesturing like a Nazi.” We know how ridiculous that “Nazi” declare was. Musk mentioned he was giving his coronary heart to the group after he made a gesture touching his coronary heart and then transferring his arm out like a salute/acknowledgement of the viewers. But then Democrats and their acolytes in the media termed it a “Nazi salute.” 

But now it seems like Elon had dropped one other shoe on that report, with what he posted on Tuesday. He posted what appeared to be a clean drug report carried out on him on June 11 by a lab company in Austin, Texas.

The take a look at confirmed he examined damaging for ketamine and a host of different medicine. 

He then challenged the Times and the Wall Street Journal to take drug assessments and “publish the results,” as he had carried out. 

When requested by reporters, President Donald Trump beforehand appeared to point out he hadn’t seen such habits.

Musk beforehand mentioned that he had been examined randomly for three years as half of his authorities contract state of affairs and that there was no fact if somebody claimed he was on medicine because “I am one of the most photographed people on Earth and am in meetings with a wide array of people 7 days a week!”

The New York Times Communications X account claimed Musk’s report did not contradict their reporting, and they mentioned they stand by their “journalism.” I do not suppose people suppose a lot of that “journalism.” 

It seemed like there perhaps was a reunion in the works between Elon Musk and President Donald Trump after their dustup over the “One Big Beautiful Bill.” Musk had reportedly reached out to Vice President JD Vance and Chief of Staff Susie Wiles. Then Musk spoke to Trump on the telephone, according to that report.

That reunion could still be in the works, although Trump is dealing with severe questions concerning Iran and Israel proper now, so he has different, more important issues on which he’s centered.
