Zach Top and Ella Langley lead wins at 2025 CMA Awards | Music News

Zach Top was named New Artist of the Year at the 2025 Country Music Association Awards, strolling on stage with a drink and laughing, “I couldn’t remember if I was supposed to put my beer down first or not.”

Ella Langley and Riley Green picked up three major trophies for their hit duet You Look Like You Love Me, taking home Song of the Year, Single of the Year, and Music Video of the Year.

Lainey Wilson opened the show with a medley of nation favorites, including Brooks & Dunn’s Hillbilly Deluxe, Miranda Lambert’s Gunpowder and Lead, and Gretchen Wilson’s Redneck Woman.

She went into the night time with six nominations and hosted the ceremony.

She didn’t break Lambert’s all-time CMA document, but she did rating wins in three classes, including Entertainer of the Year.
