Joy Behar snaps at guest host for implying she | TV Shows

Joy Behar rebuked guest host Abby Huntsman for insinuating that she wasn’t in help of the US army.

The ladies on The View— Joy, Whoopi Goldberg, Sarah Haines, and Sunny Hostin — had been joined by Abby, who is filling in this week as a guest host for Alyssa Farah Griffin as she is on maternity go away. On the Wednesday episode (March 25) of the ABC speak show, they opened with the Hot Topics section and mentioned a clip of President Donald Trump saying Iran needs to make a deal and that he acquired a “present” from the Middle Eastern nation, not disclosing what the said present was. There was another clip that confirmed Secretary of War (previously Secretary of Defense) Pete Hegseth saying America “engages in negotiations with bombing.”

Abby then claimed she felt like she was in an episode of The Apprentice, then pivoted to lauding service members. The 39-year journalist said, “I don’t want to take away from what our man and women have been doing over there because what they have accomplished is incredible. And if we can deter Iran at all, even for a few years—”

The 83-year-old comic chimed in, inquiring about what have the US army completed over there. Abby didn’t appear to perceive Joy’s query, and she repeated it and started to say that we now have “the best military in the world, and they do what they’re told.”

Joy interjected, clarifying that her query was about what have they completed with this conflict on Iran so far. Abby began to reply that it is deterring Iran and said that, whether or not for another 12 months or 10, she thinks it is a “win for this country.” Joy interjected that Obama had a deal with Iran and Trump “tore it up.”

“I think it’s really easy to sit here and say what has our military accomplished. It’s because of our military that we are able to sit here and have these conversations and do a show like this. So whenever our military is fighting for our freedoms—” Abby acknowledged.

“Don’t make it sound like I am against the military. I’m not.” Joy snapped. “All my uncles, my father, they all fought. So don’t make it sound like that.”

“I am talking about this particular, as [Trump] calls it, ‘excursion’ into Iran. What have they accomplished so far?” Joy elaborated.

Abby said that we do not know the intelligence that Trump acquired, including that “the problem” is that his administration hasn’t “communicated” that data.

Joy took a second to blast Trump to say, the 79-year-old and intelligence in “the same sentence should not go together.”

Abby appeared to need to reply the query of what the army completed, asking Joy, “What about wiping out their whole leadership?”

Abby is referring to when Trump announced that Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was killed in the US-Israel joint strikes on Iran on February 28, 2026.

Joy retorted that, referring to the late Supreme Leader’s son, Mojtaba Khamenei, “They got rid of one, but there’s still another Ayatollah who is just as bad.”
