The Fox News host dished on the Ingrahm Angle on Nov. 4 that her coverage of New Jersey‘s Jack Ciattarelli was missing in prior elections.
Ciattarelli was beforehand a New Jersey State Representative and made a bid for governor in 2017 and 2021. After two failed gubentetrial campaigns, he tried yet again in 2025. In 2021, though, he did excel far past mainstream predictions as he secured 48% of the vote against Governor Phil Murphy.
Ingraham acknowledged this near-success while talking on her show. “Ciattarelli came really close last time around and it was a race that got almost no coverage,” she said. Ingraham called the Republican “a gritty campaigner,” noting that he continued that pattern for his current run.
However, she had one remorse from that 2021 election. She said, “Frankly, I was embarassed that I didn’t cover [his 2021 campaign] enough. I should have covered it more.”
Spanberger was projected to win early after ballot closed, and the news was relayed back to the Fox News newsroom.
Before signing off for the evening, Ingraham weighed in on Virginia’s race. Under the idea Spanberger can be the winner, she said, “All I can say is, ‘Good luck, Virginia.'”
