When the ceremony started, Trump gave an update on his war with Iran.

The president said, “And before we start, I’ll say a few phrases on what’s going on with respect to our operation in the nation of Iran. The United States army together with the great Israeli companions continues to totaly demolish the enemy far forward of schedule.

“And at levels nobody has ever seen before, actually. We’re destroying more of Iran’s missiles, drone capability, every single hour. Knocking them out like nobody though possible.

“We have the best army anyplace in the world. Their navy is gone. 24 ships in three days. That’s a lot of ships.”

He continued, “Other than that, they’re doing fairly effectively,” which drew laughs from the audience.

The president added, “They’re powerful. But they need to struggle. They’re calling. ‘How can we make a deal?’ You’re being a little bit late. We need to struggle more than they do.

“Our people are doing a great job. The greatest military anyone has ever seen. We had no choice. They were going to hit us. Cause they’re crazy.

“I constructed the army and rebuilt it in my first time period, and we’re utilizing it more than I’d like to use it to be sincere with you. We also urge Iranian diplomats around the world to request asylum and help us form a new and better Iran,” he closed.

On February 28, President Trump confirmed in a video posted on his Truth Social platform that the United States and Israel launched “major fight operations” against Iran, which led to the death of their supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
