Hunter Biden has admitted that he is no longer sure if he is a Democrat, as he turned on his father’s pro-immigration stance and branded Joe Biden’s withdrawal from the warfare in Afghanistan a “f—— failure”.
The 55-year-old, who is the second son of former president Joe Biden, sat down with podcaster Shawn Ryan for a more than five-hour interview in which he accused unlawful immigrants of “draining us of resources,” contrasting the pro-migrant rhetoric of his father.
“I don’t even know if I’m a Democrat anymore,” Hunter admitted at one level. “The system is f—— broken. Completely broken,” he said after the subject of immigration was raised.
Hunter continued: “We need a vibrant immigration, but we don’t want immigrants that are coming here illegally, draining us of resources and being prioritized above people that are literal heroes, that are still recovering from 20 years of endless war, or anybody else in our society.”
During the interview, Hunter also said that his father’s pull-out from Afghanistan in 2021 was “an obvious f—— failure.”
“I think there was a better way to do it. I can blame it on his generals, the people, the way we did it. But my dad always knew the buck stops with him. That was a failure,” he said. He also revealed that he is up to $15million in debt.
“I’ve been tied up in criminal and civil and in courts and you know, I got, I don’t know $14-15 million in debt that I have no idea that I’m going to be able to pay off,” he said.
Hunter’s most current remarks on immigration contradict his earlier feedback on the subject. During an interview with YouTuber Andrew Callaghan in July, Hunter tore into Democrats over their response to Donald Trump‘s mass deportation plan.
“All these Democrats say, ‘You have to talk about and realize that people are really upset about illegal immigration,'” Biden said. “F— you,” he responded.
“How do you think your hotel room gets cleaned? How do you think you have food on your f—— table? Who do you think washes your dishes? Who do you think does your f—— garden?” Hunter continued. “Who do you think is here by the f—— sheer f—— just grit and will that they figured out a way to get here because they thought that they could give themselves and their family a better chance.”
Hunter famous that Trump has “somehow convinced all of us that these people are the f—— criminals?” but argued: “White men in America are 45 more times likely to commit a f—— violent crime than an immigrant.”
