Now Weve Got Dem Sen. Ruben Gallego Trying to | Political News

Senator Ruben Gallego (D-AZ) is irate over news that his colleague, Sen. Mark Kelly (D-AZ), is the subject of a Department of War investigation for participating in a video urging army members to defy orders from their superiors.

So a lot so that he is seemingly issuing threats to anybody who takes half in that investigation.

A Department of War assertion issued Monday acknowledged Kelly had been accused of “serious allegations of misconduct” and that additional actions against him are under consideration—including a potential court-martial or other “administrative measures.”

Gallego, in an interview with GWN, warned service members that once President Trump leaves workplace, “there will be consequences” for participating in any military proceedings related to the investigation.

“Donald Trump is going to be gone in a couple of years,” he said. “And if you’re part of the military that is going after sitting senators, sitting members of Congress, and part of the weaponization of government, there will be consequences, without a doubt.”

Gallego went even further, suggesting military members would need to look over their shoulders once the Commander-in-Chief leaves office.

“I think there’s going to be a lot of officers that’ll be part of this potential tribunal, if they want to call it that, they’re going to be looking over their shoulders,” he said. “Because they know that Donald Trump will be gone and they will not have that protection.”

Gallego, virtually following the playbook from the video verbatim, tossed out that army members must comply with the Constitution, of course. After making a number of threats—”consequences,” “looking over their shoulders,” “will not have that protection”—anyway. Just comply with the law *wink, wink*, that we’re decoding for you in our feedback, and all shall be properly.

“They’re going to have to do the safest thing possible, which is follow the Constitution of the United States, and you’ll be fine,” he urged.

There is little ambiguity right here. Gallego is threatening investigators with repercussions if they “go after” Kelly and dole out punishment. It’s deliberately tainting the inquiry.

They must be free to examine whether or not or not Sen. Kelly is in violation of the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) without concern of partisan punishment for merely doing their job.

Ruben, even without threatening army members, was clearly off his rocker relating to the Kelly investigation, based on other feedback today.

“profanity you and your investigation,” he wrote on X.

Gallego adopted that up with a profanity-laced video in which he confirmed off a temperament unfit for Congress.

“This is f***ing insane. We should all point out how f***ing insane this is,” he said, maybe wanting into a mirror. “And, you know, these guys are trying to say that they’re not acting like fascists, they’re not trying to give as much power to this president as a king, then they should stop acting like it.”

“Secretary Hegseth, all these guys, f*** you guys,” Gallego said. “You’re not gonna be able to scare us.”

Hegseth would possibly need to take a nearer look at Gallego, a former Marine, in the same method they’re investigating Kelly.
