Oscars aftermath pic exposes climate hypocrisy of…

The Oscars 2026 is perhaps over, but followers’ fury over “dirty” celebrities is just getting began.

An image displaying trash, including discarded water bottles and snack packets, strewn across Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre has gone viral on social media — sparking backlash over the hypocrisy of the elite, who grandstand about the surroundings.

“Aren’t some of them environmentalists?” one critic identified. “Where’s all that ‘protect the planet’ energy now?”

“Save the mountains, keep them clean, blah blah blah … but look at the mess they leave,” another chimed in of the hypocrisy.

“Nobody’s buying it anymore. As the saying goes: A lion is revealed by where it lies.”

“Of course, we can’t expect immaculately dressed celebrities to clean up after themselves,” yet another critic posted. “Also, what’s with ‘No Plastic’ and all these celebrities’ ecological concerns?”

The trash-filled pic has garnered practically 4 million views, with the caption: “Clean up on aisle ALL.”

Other detractors took issue with the wealthy and well-known leaving a mess for others to clean up.

“Rich people leaving their dirt for poor people, as always,” an indignant commenter wrote.

“The Elites make the mess and the lower class clears it after them,” a second echoed.

A 3rd agreed, posting, “The kind of people who expect others to clean up after them. Unseen and unthanked.”

Stars with a strong file of climate activism made their presence felt at the 98th Academy Awards on Sunday, March 15.

Jane Fonda, Javier Bardem, and Leonardo DiCaprio have been among the high-profile attendees utilizing the Oscars platform to spotlight environmental points.

Still, while fingers have been being pointed at the celebs for not taking their trash with them, some blamed the issue on a planning oversight.

“The Oscars may have been glamorous, but the aftermath shows a major planning oversight: not a single waste station in sight! With thousands of guests enjoying food and drinks, accessible bins in each aisle would have made ‘Clean up on aisle ALL’ a non-issue,” a commenter insisted.
