The View fans slam ‘biased’ Alyssa Farrah Griffin | TV Shows

Fans of The View have been irritated at Alyssa Farah Griffin for seemingly defending Donald Trump and his latest navy motion in Venezuela.

Things bought heated between the women of The View on Tuesday, January 6, episode. Whoopi Goldberg, Sara Haines, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, and Alyssa Farah Griffin had an intense exchange about President Trump capturing the Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro. The dialog bought particularly fiery between Alyssa Farah and Sunny after Joy had remarked, “Maduro is a bad guy. We took him out. So is Kim Jong Un. So is [Vladimir] Putin….We’re going to go into all these countries and just kidnap their leaders?”

“That’s the issue here. Yes, we can all agree that Maduro was an illegitimate president who did horrible things in that country and was corrupt. The way he was removed from that country matters. We are supposed to be a nation of laws. The way we did it was against international criminal laws,” Sunny added.

Alyssa Farah tried to chime in, and Sunny continued her level, “It’s against the United Nations. We can’t do it!”

Then Alyssa Farah interjected, “We’ve done it for years. “[Muammar] Gaddafi. Saddam [Hussein].” Sunny argued back at her, “It doesn’t make it proper.”

“But let’s just be constant with other administrations that, under just as tenuous of authority, have taken [people] out,” Alyssa Farah continued. “We all agree that without a good plan in place, it goes disastrously. I’m not pro-nation building, but that’s why the opposition chief….”

Alyssa Farah was cut off by Sunny and Joy, who spoke up simultaneously. Whoopie got involved to mediate and placate the table, saying, “OK, OK, OK, everybody.”

Viewers of the ABC show took to social media to specific their irritation with Alyssa Farah and her assist of the seize of Maduro.

An individual on X wrote, referring to Democratic US Representative Jasmine Crockett of Texas who was a visitor on the show, “JasmineForUS please shut Alyssa’s biased, partisan, Orange a– kisser up.”

A second said, “who hired alyssa? when she’s not twisting her hair behind her ears and reading from her notes. she ‘s just a drag. i tune her out . she’s repulsive. her tone, her delivery, her attitude and she’s a turncoat. why would i listen to her weighing in?”

Another remark said, “Alyssa, also doesn’t seem to care that the U.S. murdered 80 Venezuelans in the process of kidnapping Maduro!!! Everyone just shrugs at literally War Crimes!”

Along with capturing Maduro and his spouse, Cilia Flores, on Saturday, January 3, Trump launched a collection of airstrikes on Venezuela’s capital (Caracas) as nicely as its neighboring states. The assault struck navy bases and areas with civilians. According to The New York Times, a senior Venezuelan official told the outlet the death rely from the assault has risen to 80, between civilians and members of security forces.
