Scottie Scheffler snaps at Masters reporters…
Scottie Scheffler stormed back into Masters competition on Saturday with a big 7-under 65 during the third spherical, leaving him 4 photographs back of leaders Rory McIlroy and Cameron Young.
So when he was requested what he felt just like the spherical “could have or should have been,” the two-time inexperienced jacket winner could have been caught off guard.
“That’s just a terrible question. Next question. Awful,” Scheffler shot back at Jason Sobel of SiriusXM and CBS Sports before letting out a snort.

According to Golf Channel, Scheffler later apologized and said the query “wasn’t that bad.”
When a fan requested if Sobel thought of that possibly Scheffler doesn’t like him, Sobel replied, “We’ve always gotten along well and he answered my next question a minute later, so… no.”
Scheffler’s own phrases about his third spherical give credence to the query. Scheffler talked about a couple of points he dealt with on the back 9 and then said, “it wasn’t maybe that bad, but it definitely could have been lower,” according to Sobel.

The 29-year-old Scheffler also told CBS’s Amanda Balionis in a TV interview that he felt like he “left a few shots out there.”
Scheffler, who is at the Masters with spouse Meredith and their sons Bennett and new child Remy, is 7-under total with Young and McIlroy each at 11-under. Scheffler is set to tee off with Haotong Li at 1:52 p.m. ET, with the ultimate pairing of Young and McIlroy set to tee off at 2:25 p.m.
