The View panel rages over Biden v. Trump as Joy | TV Shows

During the May 16 episode of The View, the panel of co-hosts found themselves in a heated argument over Trump and Biden’s capabilities to serve as President of the United States.

The feud was sparked during a recent Hot Topics discussion about whether or not Biden should have been able to run for a second term against Donald Trump in the 2024 election.

Amid the tense discussion, Joy Behar urged Republican’s to ‘get over it’ as the election is in the past and Trump is already serving his term. “The ship has sailed, it’s out in the ocean somewhere…it’s over get over it.”

Alyssa Farah-Griffin fired back, saying: “No, we have Trump because you guys screwed this up,” referring to the Democratic party.

Sunny Hostin chimed in, saying to Farah-Griffin: “We have Trump because he lied to people.”

Fans reacted to the talkshow’s drama on social media, with one posting to X: “Dang, they going at it this morning! #TheView.”

“Hey Alyssa! Trump LIED to the American people and the world!!!!!” another fumed.

A third angry viewer posted: “The biggest f— you, Alyssa. We have Donald Trump because of people like you. You worked for him. You knew exactly how horrible he was. You waited until he lost to come out against him (sounds like an environment of fear that you project onto Biden’s administration)”

“Why are not any of them smart enough to simply ask @Alyssafarah “why are you so passionate about Biden”. Because she doesn’t have an answer for that other than she’s #Maga to her core,” another wrote.

Farah-Griffin formerly served as Trump’s press secretary during his first term before speaking out against him publicly following the January 6 attacks.
