Underrated comedy sees Yellowstone star looking | TV Shows

Yellowstone star Josh Lucas seems fully remodeled in the upcoming second season of Palm Royale, premiering on Apple TV+ next month.

The offbeat comedy stars Kristen Wiig as a decided social climber making an attempt to infiltrate an exclusive high society circle in Sixties Florida.

Although incomes just 56 p.c on Rotten Tomatoes, the inaugural season has regularly constructed a devoted following who argue it has been “underrated” by critics.

Thankfully, it also proved fashionable enough to warrant a second season, which is able to reunite Wiig’s Maxine Dellacorte-Simmons with Lucas, who portrays her on-screen husband Douglas Darby Dellacorte-Simmons.

Lucas, who has also starred in motion pictures Sweet Home Alabama and Ford v Ferrari, is thought to Yellowstone followers for his position as a youthful model of Kevin Costner’s lead character John Dutton in flashback scenes, stories the Mirror. 

However, he seems fully different in the preview for Palm Royale season two, swapping his cowboy hat and denim for a leather-based jacket, sun shades and aviator’s cap.

Fans who have already seen the first season will bear in mind Lucas sporting a 60s-style haircut, full with sideburns, and a clean-shaven look.

The new season will continue with Maxine dealing with Douglas’ betrayal as nicely as the looming delivery of his baby with another girl.

If you have not yet tuned into the first season of Palm Royale, now’s the proper time as new viewers have until November twelfth before the second season kicks off.

The debut sequence has been met with rave reviews from followers, with one Redditor commenting: “Okay, what is up with the rating? This show is fabulous.
