Good, a 37-year-old mom of three, was shot and killed by an ICE agent in Minneapolis earlier this month during an uptick in federal immigration enforcement operations. When requested on The Five whether or not the protesters might face legal penalties, 49 yr outdated legal analyst Emily Compagno responded, “Yeah, they have a big one,” She contended, “If I were a federal prosecutor, I would charge them with interference of free exercise of religion, violations of the Civil Rights Act, violations of the Face Act – which under Biden peaceful protesters against abortion, sitting down, 80 plus year olds, were prosecuted under – obstruction of federal functions, disorderly conduct, federal trespass, hate crimes, conspiracy to the Civil Rights Act, assaults and, if Don Lemon kept up his charade to a federal agent that he didn’t know what was going on, then I would charge him too with lying to a federal agent.”
She went on, “And then on the state level, I would charge unlawful assembly, disorderly conduct, trespassing, harassment, intimidation, and child endangerment.”
Compagno additional said that if she have been an employer in town, she would terminate anybody who participated “in that shameful, unlawful, horrific, anti-Christian behavior.” She also talked about that if she have been a mother or father in town, she would not permit their youngsters to affiliate with any kids of protesters concerned in the incident.

Demonstrating his endorsement of Compagno’s remarks, Trump posted a video of her statements on Truth Social without any accompanying textual content. Nevertheless, some people took to the remark part to voice criticism of the president, with one particular person stating, “The only agitator is our president whose IQ like the cold weather is well below normal. Those following his illegal commands feel right in what they do when Those they work for belong under the jail ,how do you think rich people get away with their crimes if it were not for the corruption in our justice system and law men who bow to their master.”
Other commenters called on the administration to act swiftly. One questioned, “So why aren’t they getting arrested with all the charges Emily said they are probably guilty of? If the ‘authorities’ in MN won’t do it- then do whatever it takes, or send in whoever it will take, to get it done. What’s the hold up? Seriously. What?” Another demanded, “Arrest these people. It’s treason! !”.
Notwithstanding some destructive suggestions, quite a few people expressed their backing for Trump, with one commenting, “Democrats don’t hate Trump because he is destroying democracy. He isn’t. They hate him because he is stopping them from destroying our Republic. And they know it.” Another commenter characterised Trump as “The Greatest President of Our Generation.”
Following the incident this past weekend, Harmeet Dhillon, Assistant Attorney General for the US Department of Justice, announced that her division is probing federal civil rights violations “by these people desecrating a house of worship and interfering with Christian worshippers.”
She expressed on social media, “A house of worship is not a public forum for your protest! It is a space protected from exactly such acts by federal criminal and civil laws!”.
Attorney General Pam Bondi also chimed in on social media, asserting that any violators of federal law would face prosecution. Trump launched a assertion on Truth Social, saying, “Just watched footage of the Church Raid in Minnesota by the agitators and insurrectionists. These people are professionals! No person acts the way they act. They are highly trained to scream, rant, and rave, like lunatics, in a certain manner, just like they are doing.
“They are troublemakers who needs to be thrown in jail, or thrown out of the Country. The first to go needs to be Walz, and Fake Sleazebag, Ilhan Omar, who is supposedly value over $30 Million Dollars, even though she’s never had something but a Government job. Investigate these Corrupt Politicians, and do it now!”.
Karoline Leavitt, White House Press Secretary, posted on X, “President Trump won’t tolerate the intimidation and harassment of Christians in their sacred locations of worship. The Department of Justice has launched a full investigation into the despicable incident that occurred earlier today at a church in Minnesota.”
Nekima Levy Armstrong, a participant in the protest and leader of the local grassroots civil rights organization Racial Justice Network, dismissed the potential DOJ investigation as a sham and a distraction from federal agents’ actions in Minneapolis-St. Paul.
“When you suppose about the federal authorities unleashing barbaric ICE brokers upon our neighborhood and all the hurt that they’ve brought about, to have somebody serving as a pastor who oversees these ICE brokers, is sort of unfathomable to me,” said Armstrong, who also mentioned she is an ordained reverend.
She further commented, “If people are more involved about somebody coming to a church on a Sunday and disrupting business as regular than they’re about the atrocities that we’re experiencing in our neighborhood, then they need to verify their theology and the need to verify their hearts.”
The web site of Cities Church, based in St. Paul, lists David Easterwood as a pastor, and his personal particulars seem to match those of the David Easterwood recognized in court filings as the performing director of the ICE St. Paul subject workplace. Easterwood was seen alongside DHS Secretary Kristi Noem at a Minneapolis press convention last October.
