Minneapolis ICE shooting victim identified as

The lady fatally shot by a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer on Wednesday has been named as 37 12 months previous Renee Nicole Good.

Good’s mom confirmed her daughter’s id to the Minnesota Star Tribune. Authorities had earlier described Good as a “middle-aged white woman,” who didn’t seem to be the subject of a law enforcement operation or investigation.

“She was probably terrified,” Ganger said about her daughter.

She also maintained that her daughter was doubtless not taking part in protests against ICE, saying, she is “not part of anything like that at all.”

Homeland Security spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin said that ICE brokers had been finishing up a focused operation in Minneapolis when a lady allegedly “weaponized her vehicle, attempting to run over our law enforcement officers in an attempt to kill her.”

President Donald Trump, in a social media post, stated he had watched footage of the incident and condemned the woman who was shot, describing her as acting “very disorderly, obstructing and resisting” and “then violently, willfully, and viciously” running over the ICE officer.

The president also characterized another woman heard screaming in the video he reviewed as “clearly, a skilled agitator.

“Based on the attached clip, it is hard to believe he is alive, but is now recovering in the hospital,” Trump said of the ICE officer.

“The situation is being studied, in its entirety, but the reason these incidents are happening is because the Radical Left is threatening, assaulting, and targeting our Law Enforcement Officers and ICE Agents on a daily basis. They are just trying to do the job of MAKING AMERICA SAFE.”

Demonstrations have erupted across Minneapolis, with Governor Walz calling on people to stay peaceable and keep away from giving Trump justification to federalize the National Guard and deploy them in the state.

“They want a show. We can’t give it to them. We cannot,” the governor said during a press convention. “If you protest and express your First Amendment rights, please do so peacefully, as you always do. We can’t give them what they want.”
